Kylie Jenner<\/a> says her and Travis Scott<\/a>\u2019s daughter, Stormi, recently asked her why their entire family is famous, leading to an emotional moment in which the past collided with the present.<\/p>\n

In the debut episode of Kid Cudi\u2019<\/a>s Big Bro podcast, seen in full here<\/a>, Jenner was asked to detail any experiences she\u2019s had involving her children coming to the realization that they too are in the spotlight. While such realizations haven\u2019t yet hit Aire, her and Travis\u2019s second child together, Stormi\u2014perhaps due to school talk, per Jenner\u2019s own speculation\u2014has started asking questions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s, like, super maybe normal to them,\u201d Jenner told Cudi. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty normal, I think. You know, they see people come up to me and ask me for photos. My son, not so much. My daughter, for sure now. \u2026 The other day, she said \u2018Why are we famous? Why is our whole family famous? Because that\u2019s crazy.\u2019 I\u2019m like, actually, let me try to answer this for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Jenner sees it, some kids in school are \u201cfans\u201d of Scott, which she believes may have led to this line of questioning from their daughter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s becoming more present in her mind, but she said \u2018Why are we famous?\u2019\u201d Jenner added. \u201cI sat her down. I was like, \u2018We started a television show when I was a year older than you and that\u2019s why we\u2019re all in this together, because we were all on the show together.\u2019 She was like, \u2018Can I watch it?\u2019 and I\u2019m like, \u2018Sure.\u2019 So we turned on the first episode.\u201d<\/p>\n

While some of the material proved \u201cinappropriate,\u201d Jenner said it inspired a swell of emotion that she still can\u2019t quite put to words.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so emotional after,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know what hit me but I was weeping in my bed. I don\u2019t know why that happened to me. Maybe it\u2019s my daughter being the same age as I was and just seeing my family, feeling so grateful for all that we\u2019ve built but also mourning that closeness when we were all kind of living under the same roof.\u201d<\/p>\n
