Speaking to Big Issue in his Denmark Street venue, Yungblud revealed that Osbourne had been watching back his performance of Black Sabbath hit Changes on the day he died.<\/p>\n

\u201cJack [Osbourne, Ozzy\u2019s son] told me that on the morning Ozzy passed, he was watching it [Yungblud\u2019s performance of Changes<\/a>]. That is just insane,\u201d Yungblud said<\/p>\n

\u201cThat whole family \u2013 they\u2019re just the greatest. For the amount of success and money that\u2019s come their way, they are so fucking real.\u201d<\/p>\n

All proceeds from \u2018Back to the Beginning\u2019, Black Sabbath\u2019s epic farewell gig at Villa Park, went to charity, with the Big Issue amongst those benefitting as the gig\u2019s official programme partner. In the new interview with the street magazine, Yungblud compares to \u201cLive Aid or some sh*t\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was the biggest David-and-Goliath moment of my life. If you\u2019re ever going to make a movie, that\u2019s definitely a big scene in it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was the only artist under 30. Six generations of rock musicians, and I\u2019m going out to honour the Boss, who I\u2019ve loved since I was two years old. Before I even knew what music was, he was like Batman to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Osbournes\u2019 influence in Yungblud\u2019s life has continued since Ozzy\u2019s passing last year. He told the Big Issue that the family have helped him detach from chasing external validation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be loved. That\u2019s all I\u2019ve ever wanted. That\u2019s why I started this,\u201d he tells the Big Issue. \u201cBut what Ozzy and Sharon and that family helped me understand is \u2013 people don\u2019t like Coca Cola, people don\u2019t like chicken tenders, people don\u2019t like fish and chips, but those things are so themselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to get eaten up by people saying my music\u2019s shit. Now I love it. People love me or they fucking hate me. Any expression I\u2019m invoking in people is the point of art.\u201d<\/p>\n
