Cox, 53, spoke with PEOPLE exclusively at the premiere of the dark comedy in New York City on April 6. During the conversation, the actress shared that Reeves, 61, was \u201cfocused\u2019 on set.<\/p>\n
\u201cKeanu is focused, and Keanu is intense and just dialed in every single take,\u201d Cox said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut once his coverage is done, he just chills a bit, and he\u2019s talking more. But he\u2019s chill and really normal \u2014 as normal as you can be when you\u2019re an international superstar,\u201d she continued. \u201cBut very chill, and unassuming and almost shy, which makes you want him even more.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I was very appropriate on set \u2014 I didn\u2019t flirt,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

So insightful what Virginia gets to say \u2014 it started as a five-page monologue that she has that\u2019s some of the most prescient, smartest stuff I\u2019ve gotten to say as a character on screen. And I was like, \u2018Okay, I have to do this,\u2019 \u201d she added.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd then Keanu Reeves, it\u2019s like, honestly, [Jonah] could\u2019ve just led with Keanu Reeves and I would\u2019ve been like, \u2018I\u2019m in. It really can be,\u201d she continued, adding, \u201cSo it\u2019s like, how do you give yourself permission to just be?\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to Cox and Reeves, Outcome also stars Cameron Diaz<\/a>, Matt Bomer<\/a>, David Spade<\/a> and Hill.
