The Montreal area is set to lose another Walmart store, with the company announcing the closure of its Dorval location as of July 17. <\/p>\n

In a statement to CBC News, a spokesperson for the retail giant said it was a “difficult decision,” but part of the company’s ongoing efforts to better serve its clientele and meet their evolving needs.<\/p>\n

The C\u00f4te-des-Neiges location is scheduled to close officially on June 19 of this year, followed by the Pointe-aux-Trembles store a week later on June 26. <\/p>\n

Despite the closures, the company says it remains committed to the Quebec market and is investing $150 million this fiscal year to enhance its presence in the province. <\/p>\n
