{"id":394367,"date":"2026-04-16T00:56:26","date_gmt":"2026-04-16T00:56:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/394367\/"},"modified":"2026-04-16T00:56:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T00:56:26","slug":"ai-advances-in-the-liver-disease-field","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/394367\/","title":{"rendered":"AI advances in the liver disease field"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MASH represents the advanced inflammatory form of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD, formerly known as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease), where fat accumulation in the liver triggers fibrosis and progressive liver injury.<\/p>\n<p>As a major public health challenge, MASH affects an estimated\u00a013 million\u00a0American adults, according to the American Liver Foundation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medcentral.com\/hepatology\/liver-disease\/ai-advances-in-metabolic-dysfunction-associated-steatohepatitis\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">According to a recent MedCentral article<\/a>, more AI-based clinical assessment tools in MASH are needed.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)\u00a0recently validated the first AI-enabled drug development tool: the AI-Based Histologic Measurement of NASH (AIM-NASH).
