\n\t\u201cI could go on and on about her accomplishments or her influence in pop culture,\u201d she continues. \u201cBut sitting down to write, the thing that comes to mind is that the magic at her core\u2014the power that draws you into \u2018Jennie the Artist\u2019 when you\u2019re watching her onscreen or as one of 100,000 people in a stadium\u2014 is identical to the power she carries when you find her in the corner of a party or run into her in a backstage hallway.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe South Korean rapper, singer and actress has scored a series of hits with the mega girl group, as well as charting her own solo songs on the Billboard Hot 100 over the past three years, including on last year\u2019s remix of Tame Impala\u2019s \u201cDracula\u201d (No. 17), \u201cOne of the Girls\u201d (with the Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp) (No. 51) and her 2025 Doechii collab \u201cExtraL\u201d (No. 51). In addition, she made her acting debut in the Weeknd\u2019s 2023 HBO series The Idol and released her debut solo album, Ruby, in March of last year.<\/p>\n

\n\tAbrams wrote that what really makes JENNIE a star is that even in her quietest moments, \u201cShe possesses the same kind of undeniable presence that cuts through all the noise, and she carries that with kindness and warmth.
