WAUKESHA COUNTY \u2014 It is like d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu all over again due to flooding and stormy weather. In August Waukesha County experienced historic flooding. Wednesday\u2019s rainfall is currently causing headaches for motorists.<\/p>\n

Temporary road closures due to flooding:<\/p>\n

Barker Rd from River Road to Capitol DrBarker Rd from North Ave to Gebhardt RdHackberry Lane at Moorland RdPilgrim Road from Gebhardt to Watertown PlankMitchell Park Dr from Capitol Dr to River RdRiver Rd from Brookfield Rd to Barker RdMitchell Park and the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts are also closed due to this flooding.Fox Brook Park remains open. Barker Road is open from North Avenue, accessible via Springdale Road, to the park entrance.<\/p>\n

Waukesha County Department of Public Works announced road closures which are in effect for:<\/p>\n

WisDOT reminds motorists to check 511wi.gov<\/a> to view the latest highway closures.<\/p>\n
