It\u2019s slated to hit theaters Nov. 25, 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tSteinfeld will voice the role of Billie, an unconventional teenager from a boring town who accidentally discovers that she\u2019s a witch and finds herself whisked away to a world of magic. Her type-A mom, voiced by Jones, also finds her world upside down.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDisney showed off teaser featuring Steinfeld\u2019s Billie meeting a talking book and pen. \u201cHave you ever been persecuted, drowned or burned at the stake?\u201d the Pen asks, to which Billie quips, \u201cI\u2019ve burned a steak in the microwave.\u201d After Billie signs her name to his pages, the book then introduces her to a \u201cworld of magic and wonder.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe project was first revealed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/jared-bush\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jared-bush_1\" data-tag=\"jared-bush\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jared Bush<\/a>, chief creative officer of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/walt-disney-animation-studios\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Walt Disney Animation Studios<\/a>,\u00a0at a D23 event in August 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDisney Animation has long dominated the Thanksgiving holiday corridor.
