Affected items are in 60 tablet bottles.<\/p>\n<p>The recall was voluntary and initiated on March 17, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>More identifying factors:<\/p>\n<p>It was recalled due to \u201cFailed Dissolution Specifications,\u201d according to the FDA. This means the drug fails to dissolve at the proper, tested rate within the body.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aarp.org\/health\/conditions-treatments\/atorvastatin-recall-october-2025\/#:~:text=The%20agency%20cited%20%E2%80%9Cfailed%20dissolution,you%20take%20the%20correct%20dose.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">AARP explains<\/a> that failed dissolution specifications mean \u201cwhen the pill is swallowed, it may not break down at the right speed to be absorbed by the body.
