{"id":397429,"date":"2026-04-17T18:35:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T18:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/397429\/"},"modified":"2026-04-17T18:35:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T18:35:08","slug":"four-st-lukes-hospitals-named-among-top-100-in-national-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/397429\/","title":{"rendered":"Four St. Luke&#8217;s hospitals named among top 100 in national list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Several St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network hospitals have once again been named to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.modernhealthcare.com\/awards\/mh-premier-100-top-hospitals-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Premier Inc.\u2019s 100 Top Hospitals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is the 12th time in a row and the 14th time overall that St. Luke\u2019s hospitals have been recognized by the list published in Modern Healthcare magazine.<\/p>\n<p>Premier\u2019s Top 100 Hospitals list, published since 1993, uses publicly available data from the federal government and various industry associations to evaluate nearly 2,600 acute care, nonfederal hospitals in the U.S. Hospitals that make the list are recognized for excellence in patient care quality, operational efficiency, financial health, community impact and customer experience.<\/p>\n<p>According to Premier, the list identifies top performers and reports findings to help health care organizations achieve consistent, balanced and sustainable high performance. Premier doesn\u2019t ask for hospitals to participate in the study and hospitals that make the list are not charged to promote themselves for making it on the list.<\/p>\n<p>The list is not purely numerical either; instead, top-ranking hospitals are grouped into five categories: major teaching hospitals, teaching hospitals, and small, medium or large community hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Five Pennsylvania hospitals earned a place on the top 100 list. Four of the five are St. Luke\u2019s campuses.<\/p>\n<p>St. Luke\u2019s Anderson Campus was named the No. 2 teaching hospital in the country; it\u2019s the eighth time in a row that it has been recognized as a top teaching hospital.
