Blake Lively<\/a> and Ryan Reynolds<\/a> are reportedly considering a trans-Atlantic move to the U.K., according to sources who claim that the couple is seeking a fresh start overseas, where they believe they can better avoid the fallout from the actress’ legal battle against Justin Baldoni<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The scandal between Lively<\/a>, 38, and Baldoni, 42, began in December 2024, when the “Gossip Girl” alum sued the actor and alleged sexual harassment and retaliation. He denied the allegations and countersued Lively in a $400 million suit, which was thrown out by a judge in June 2025.<\/p>\n

Though Lively’s suit was allowed to proceed, earlier this month a judge dismissed 10 of the 13 allegations she levied against Baldoni, including the accusations of harassment, conspiracy, and defamation. A trial to hear the remainder of the suit is due to begin on May 18.<\/p>\n

However, ahead of her appearance in court, Lively\u2014who shares four children with Reynolds, 49\u2014is reported to be in the process of making some significant decisions about the family’s future, with an insider claiming to the Daily Mail<\/a> that she and her husband have “discussed moving to the United Kingdom.”<\/p>\n

As for why the duo is even considering the U.K., the insider noted that Reynolds has already established a life for himself there, having purchased a majority stake in a local soccer club, Wrexham, in 2021.<\/p>\n

Reynolds and Lively have flown across the pond to the U.K. to watch multiple Wrexham games and, the source stated, they feel that they will have a better chance to move past the murky drama in a new locale.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Ryan\u2019s huge success with [his Welsh soccer club], Wrexham, he has a great affinity for the U.K.,\u201d the insider told the outlet, noting that the actress \u201ccould rebrand there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lively is also said to be of the opinion that she would have greater career opportunities overseas, having seen her reputation somewhat hampered by the ongoing legal saga.<\/p>\n

“[She] believes there are top-of-the-line filmmakers who could give her a second chance,” the insider went on.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail, \u201cmost people in the industry\u201d are\u00a0\u201csteer[ing] clear\u201d of Lively following her feud with Baldoni as they prepare to go to trial next month.<\/p>\n

According to property records, Lively and Reynolds picked up their Pound Ridge estate for $5.7 million in 2012\u2014the same year they married.<\/p>\n

Built in 1860, the seven-bedroom mansion offers 8,892 square feet of living space.<\/p>\n

The 12-acre parcel appears to have a converted barn on the premises, as well as stone walls, a stocked pond, and orchards.<\/p>\n

The property boasts seven bedrooms and six bathrooms and comes with a separate guesthouse.<\/p>\n

While no photos of the ultraprivate property are available, a shot from Reynolds’\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0account with his mom gives a sense of the graphite exteriors of the charming property.<\/p>\n

According to multiple reports, Reynolds and Lively have a condo in a stylish Tribeca building. It\u2019s a celebrity hot spot, as it\u2019s been home to\u00a0Justin Timberlake,\u00a0Jennifer Lawrence, and\u00a0Harry Styles, among others.<\/p>\n

Once a 19th-century book bindery, the building was converted into luxe residences with unique character. It now offers 53 loft-style homes and eight penthouses.<\/p>\n

Offering the \u201chighest degree of service,\u201d the building also provides on-site, 24\/7 staff.<\/p>\n

Lively and Reynolds must love the history combined with the convenience of the paparazzi-proof building, where units cost anywhere from $6 million to $50 million.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t know specifically which unit they picked, but they had an option of a variety of spaces, including a loft or penthouse.<\/p>\n

Custom kitchens designed by Christopher Peacock are encased in wood and fluted glass cabinetry with 2-inch-thick Calacatta marble on the kitchen islands.
