It is one of the most feature-rich digital wallet apps in today\u2019s smartphone ecosystem. However, some features may stop working if a key Google component is not up to date.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nSamsung Wallet requires up-to-date Google Play services\n<\/p>\n<p>Galaxy users have recently been notified (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammyfans.com\/2026\/04\/12\/samsung-wallet-digital-key-google-play-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">via<\/a> SammyFans) that Samsung Wallet\u2019s Digital Key feature will not work unless <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/google-play-services-update-two-new-features-android\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Google Play services<\/a> is updated.
