Pictures<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSinners\u201d and \u201cEvil\u201d star Li Jun Li, who will soon be seen in Amazon\u2019s upcoming \u201cSpider-Noir\u201d series, has scored one of the last key roles in the third season of HBO\u2019s \u201cThe Last of Us\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Li will star as Miriam, a Seraphite who is also the mother of siblings Lev (Kyriana Kratter) and Yara (Michelle Mao).<\/p>\n<p>The pair are the biggest new additions, character-wise, to the story as the show\u2019s perspective shifts to Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) across the \u2018Days 1-3\u2019 timespan in Seattle.  Abby and Lev\u2019s relationship will serve as the core of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Miriam has only a short appearance in the game, though the series could extend that and potentially show off Lev &amp; Yara\u2019s life as Seraphites on the island village briefly glimpsed from a distance in the second season finale as the WLF attacked at the end of Day 3.<\/p>\n<p>She joins other new additions to the cast, including Patrick Wilson as Abby\u2019s father, Jason Ritter as a WLF soldier, Clea DuVall as a Seraphite, and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. taking over the role of Manny.<\/p>\n<p>Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, Spencer Lord, Jeffrey Wright, Bella Ramsey, Isabela Merced, and Gabriel Luna all return from prior seasons.
