An iconic DC hero has just received an upgrade so powerful that he\u2019s now a walking, Superman<\/a>-killing machine, and that\u2019s no exaggeration. While this character has long ranked among the DC Universe\u2019s most powerful heroes, this new power boost puts him on an entirely different level, arriving just in time as he steps into a shocking new villain era.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve been keeping up with DC Comics, then you are likely aware of the publisher\u2019s recently concluded DC K.O. crisis event<\/a>. The storyline saw Earth\u2019s heroes and villains competing in tournament-style death matches, battling one another to crown a singular champion capable of accumulating enough Omega Energy to defeat Darkseid in his terrifying King Omega form. In the end, Superman ultimately emerged as that champion.<\/p>\n

However, he didn\u2019t play by the tournament\u2019s rules and ultimately made a sacrifice that bestowed Alpha Energy on all the heroes and villains who had participated in the tournament. Among the heroes infused with this all-powerful, and transformative Alpha Energy was Cyborg. The Alpha Energy ultimately separated Victor Stone from his machine half, then rebuilt each half into a whole.<\/p>\n

As a result, there is now a fully human Victor and a fully machine version of Cyborg<\/a> running around. This machine-half was not only made whole but also underwent major upgrades that Victor himself confesses he doesn\u2019t even know the limits of. These power upgrades have ultimately made the machine half a walking Superman-killing machine thanks to one newfound ability.<\/p>\n
