They\u2019ve played on-screen lovers in Only Murders in the Building since 2023, and while they at first denied their romance, it seems to be one of Hollywood\u2019s worst-kept secrets.<\/p>\n

\n\tPlus, in Sept 2025, during the 2025 Emmy Awards<\/a>, Selena Gomez was caught on camera reacting to Short\u2019s text messages, mouthing to her fianc\u00e9, Benny Blanco, \u201cMartin\u2019s texting Meryl.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMeryl couldn\u2019t help but fall for Martin,\u201d an insider said to Page Six<\/a> in 2025. \u201cHe is a gentleman, he keeps her laughing, and is an all-around positive person. She loves being around him.\u201d<\/p>\n
