\n\t\u201cI Feel So Free,\u201d the new single from Madonna<\/a>, tops this week\u2019s fan-voted new music poll<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tListeners voted in a poll published Friday (April 18)\u00a0on\u00a0Billboard<\/a>, choosing the iconic pop star\u2019s latest single as their favorite new release this week.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI Feel So Free\u201d rose to the top of the poll during a week full of fresh pop arrivals, with new tunes from Olivia Rodrigo, Tyla feat. Zara Larsson, Lana Del Rey, sombr and more. At the poll\u2019s closing time on Sunday, Madonna led the pack with 40% of the vote.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI Feel So Free\u201d debuted on iHeartRadio\u2019s Pride station on Friday, and it arrived on streaming services \u2014 and with an official visualizer, seen above \u2014 following Madonna\u2019s surprise appearance<\/a> during Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s Coachella set later that night. (Madonna and Sabrina sang two classics, \u201cVogue\u201d and \u201cLike a Prayer,\u201d together at the festival in Indio, Calif.)<\/p>\n

\n\tThe track celebrates the comfort found in going out dancing: \u201cIt\u2019s really hard for me to trust people\/ Can you blame me?\/ I never know what people like me\/ That\u2019s why I like to go dancing\/ Safety in numbers\/ That\u2019s why I like to go dancing\/ Safety in numbers,\u201d Madonna sings in the chorus.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s the first single off of Madonna\u2019s upcoming Confessions II album, the sequel to 2005\u2019s Confessions on a Dance Floor. Confessions II is slated for a July 3 release via Warner Records.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the new releases trailing behind \u201cI Feel So Free\u201d are Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s \u201cDrop Dead,\u201d with 31% of the vote, and Tyla feat. Zara Larsson\u2019s \u201cShe Did It Again,\u201d with nearly 16% of the vote. Lana Del Rey\u2019s \u201cFirst Light\u201d and sombr\u2019s \u201cPotential\u201d rounded out the top 5 picks.<\/p>\n
