Back in 2013, Bruce Willis had just starred in A Good Day to Die Hard when he put his longtime Beverly Hills home<\/a> on the market for $22 million. Though it took over a year\u2014and a 20 percent discount\u2014the legendary actor eventually sold the 10,400-square-foot residence for a reported<\/a> $16.5 million.<\/p>\n The new owners, Guess CEO (former co-CEO of RH) Carlos Alberini and his wife, Andrea Alberini, undertook a series of major renovations<\/a> that modernized the 1928 property but kept its historic details\u2014beamed ceilings, original fireplaces\u2014intact. Now, more than a decade later, they have sold the gated Benedict Canyon estate in an off-mark transaction, per The Real Deal<\/a>. The final sale price of $41.3 million makes it the second most expensive<\/a> residential property bought this year in all of Los Angeles County, behind a $47 million sale in March.<\/p>\n Willis and wife Emma Heming Willis on November 4, 2019 in Shanghai, China.<\/p>\n Located on nearly an acre of land in the prestigious 90210 zip code, the two-story residence comes with seven bedrooms and ten baths. Interior hallmarks include<\/a> a double-height foyer, walls of glass, and a sprawling primary suite equipped with a pair of walk-in closets and a private terrace. There are also manicured gardens, a pool court, an al fresco dining area with pizza oven, and a courtyard with fire pit.<\/p>\n Willis, whose family announced he was battling frontotemporal dementia<\/a> in 2023, bought the property in 2004, just four years after his divorce from Demi Moore, for $9 million. At the time, the seller was Oscar-winning film producer Alan Ladd, Jr.<\/p>\n For their part, the Alberinis bought not only the Willis abode but also the neighboring property, paying $15.75 million in 2021.
