Motorola has teased its next-gen Razr phones enough already, but that won\u2019t stop them from releasing a new teaser that confirms the Razr (2026)\u2019s April 29 launch date and new colors.<\/p>\n
The Razr (2026) series isn\u2019t nearly a secret. The phones went on display at CES 2026 alongside the company\u2019s first book-style foldables. We\u2019ve seen leaks since then that compare it to previous models, even going so far as to stress the Razr Ultra\u2019s larger profile<\/a>. <\/p>\n To cement any plans to pre-order the phone, Motorola posted a teaser<\/a> video on Twitter\/X. The 12-second video features detailed shots of what are likely new colorways for the series. There even seems to be a red Motorola Edge model worked into the mix \u2013 it\u2019s worth mentioning this is Motorola\u2019s global account, so there\u2019s no guarantee this device would make it to the US.<\/p>\n The most notable frames introduce a purple quilted colorway for what appears to be two devices. The first color shot doesn\u2019t look like any part of the Motorola Razr (2026), considering portions of what could be a camera panel are seen in the top corner. Further in the video, a similar quilted purple device is seen, and it\u2019s definitely the Razr (2026). Both of those options look great, but that\u2019s no deviation from previous design choices in Motorola\u2019s Razr lineup.<\/p>\n The most important part is the date. Motorola has confirmed that these devices will be announced on April 29. Previously, we\u2019ve seen reports that the phone will go on sale publicly on May 21. The official date in the video is likely a pre-order launch.<\/p>\n Other leaks note that phones may launch with higher prices. The most affordable Razr model may launch at $799, while the Razr Ultra could go for as much as $1,499.<\/p>\n Update: Motorola has shared a US version of this teaser, which removes the Edge devices.<\/p>\n
