Rakesh Bedi,<\/a> a seasoned star, has found a new fanbase after the stellar success of the\u00a0Dhurandhar\u00a0franchise. However, he initially did not want to be a part of Aditya Dhar’s debut film,\u00a0Uri: The Surgical Strike, for a one-scene role, but his daughter made him change his mind.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Farah Khan, he shared, \u201cI had refused\u00a0Uri\u00a0because it had just one scene in Serbia.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking at his daughter Ritika, he added, \u201cBut she insisted, \u2018Dad, he’s a new director and very promising. Please do the film.’\u201d Rakesh’s wife supported her, saying, \u201cHer argument was that if veterans refuse to work with new directors, it will not be fair.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ritika added,<\/a> \u201cIt becomes a cycle, then nobody gets a chance.\u201d Rakesh continued, \u201cThat’s when I agreed. Later, Aditya came and told me, \u2018Sir, you have to do it.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Ritika joked, \u201cThat’s why I tell my parents: listen to us youngsters, you’ll benefit!\u201d Farah joked, telling Rakesh, \u201cSee how much her advice helped you.\u201d \u201cIt did indeed,\u201d said Rakesh’s wife, looking at her daughter.<\/p>\n

When Farah suggested Ritika should demand a gift in return, she quipped, \u201cIt’s already decided. I am getting my Range Rover soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Farah reacted with surprise<\/a>: \u201cOh my God, really?\u201d Rakesh and his wife laughed it off, joking, \u201cShe’s lying. She’s always been a feku since childhood.\u201d<\/p>\n
