The 39-year-old real estate professional had just become a father of twins, an event that would have seemed unlikely just 18 months earlier.<\/p>\n<p>In late 2024, Gangil weighed 94kg (207 pounds) and faced a worrying list of health issues: high cholesterol, signs of fatty liver disease, nagging <a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/lifestyle\/health-wellness\/article\/3228209\/plantar-fasciitis-ingrown-toenails-bunions-podiatrist-explains-how-high-heels-and-flat-feet-make?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">plantar fasciitis<\/a> and poor sleep.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">For years, he had told himself that \u201cthis is genetics\u201d, but that explanation no longer felt enough.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">By the end of 2025, he had shed 20kg and was moving and sleeping better.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cI felt younger than a decade ago,\u201d Gangil says.
