Tori Spelling mourned Patrick Muldoon\u2019s death<\/a> by sharing throwback photos of the exes in her Instagram tribute <\/a>on Tuesday. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis post took me a couple days. I wasn\u2019t ready to write because then it felt real. And, this shouldn\u2019t be real,\u201d Spelling began her lengthy post.<\/p>\n

The \u201cBeverly Hills, 90210\u201d alum recalled meeting Muldoon on a blind date, though she felt she knew him already from his role on \u201cDays of Our Lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spelling shared throwback photos (like the one above) of the exes, who dated in the 1990s. torispelling\/Instagram<\/p>\n

\u201cLike every other girl in the world I crushed on his character Austin from \u2018Days of Our Lives,’\u201d she wrote. \u201cNot sure I ever disclosed that to him. What I met and ultimately fell in love w\/ was not just a beautiful on the outside creature but the most beautiful soul.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spelling, 52, called Muldoon \u201cthe kindest most caring human\u201d who was \u201cmulti-talented\u201d and \u201cpassionate about everything he did.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe shared a love of Broncos, guitars, goofing off, playing tag, and Grease! Loved to belt out Grease. I was Sandy to his Danny!\u201d she continued. <\/p>\n

She also called the \u201cMelrose Place\u201d actor \u201cthe kindest most caring human.\u201d torispelling\/Instagram<\/p>\n

The \u201cScary Movie 2\u201d actress also said she admired Muldoon\u2019s close relationship with his sister, Shana Zappa, and his parents, as well as his work ethic. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a huge part of my formative 20\u2019s,\u201d Spelling shared. \u201cWe went on to be good friends! Still laughing & always caring. Decades later I found him to be such a true friend\/hype man when I was going thru [sic] my divorce. He would call and check on me and send me the worst jokes to make me laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe loved when I rolled my eyes,\u201d she added. \u201cNow I miss those stupid jokes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spelling said she met Muldoon\u2019s partner, Miriam Rothbart, before his death. torispelling\/Instagram<\/p>\n

At the end of her post, Spelling revealed that she saw Muldoon last summer and met his partner, Miriam Rothbart, whom she called his \u201cperfect balance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spelling dated Muldoon in the 1990s. They both appeared in the 1996 TV movie \u201cDeadly Pursuits\u201d and in \u201cSaved by the Bell,\u201d but not in the same episodes. <\/p>\n

Before Spelling, the \u201cMelrose Place\u201d actor dated Denise Richards, <\/a>with whom he remained close until his death.<\/p>\n

During an episode of \u201cDenise Richards & Her Wild Things\u201d in 2025, Richards and Spelling called Muldoon and reminded him of the past romances, but he joked that he didn\u2019t \u201cremember the 90s.\u201d<\/p>\n

After hanging up the phone, Spelling said, \u201cA man stopped seeing Denise Richards for me. F\u2013k. I always wanted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame \u2014 I\u2019m fine with this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richards, 55, shared her own tribute<\/a> to her \u201cStarship Troopers\u201d co-star on Tuesday, admitting that she\u2019s \u201cdeeply heartbroken & devastated\u201d over his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re my voice of reason & pillar of strength. Especially during this last year of pain & heartache,\u201d she said, seemingly referring to\u00a0her ongoing tumultuous divorce from Aaron Phypers.<\/a><\/p>\n

Richards added, \u201cAnd now I need you more than ever, for this pain and heartache losing you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Muldoon died on Sunday following a sudden heart attack. He was 57 years old.<\/p>\n

Rothbart found him unconscious on the bathroom floor of their Beverly Hills home. He was pronounced dead on the scene after paramedics were called.<\/p>\n
