Welcome to\u00a0The Valley<\/a>\u00a0Season 3 Episode 4 recap.\u00a0Last time, Brittany introduced her boyfriend, Brandon Hanson<\/a>, to the gang. Immediately, he involved himself<\/a> in the drama between Michelle and Jasmine, which annoyed Brittany. In addition, Danny felt that Luke was sus for trying to broker peace with Jason. Here\u2019s what happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 4: \u201cMariposa Momma.\u201d<\/p>\n

What happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 4?<\/p>\n

Luke and Kristen\u2019s date night turned disastrous. Meanwhile, Lala, Michelle, and Schwartz went out for a singles night. And the meeting between Jason and Danny went downhill fast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jesse wants Schwartz to date Michelle in The Valley<\/p>\n

Schwartz, Jason, and Jesse met up for beer and mani-pedis. Schwartz mentioned that he, Michelle, and Lala were going out for singles night at The Belmont, which is where he met his ex-wife, Katie Maloney<\/a>. He clearly felt uncomfortable telling Jesse.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought you and Michelle were starting a little thing together<\/a>,\u201d Jesse said. \u201cYou know I would never disrespect you like that unless it was true love,\u201d Schwartz replied. \u201cI would never shoplift the pooty.\u201d Lordy. <\/p>\n

As for Jesse, he would be delighted if Schwartz dated his ex. \u201cIf Schwartz and Michelle ended up dating, that is so much fuel for me to use at all times to make the two of them feel uncomfortable,\u201d Jesse said in his confessional. \u201cI feel like, at this point, I\u2019m pushing them into dating.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then Jason brought up Jesse\u2019s relationship with Lacy Nicole<\/a>. \u201cThen, the situation where Janet asked me to block her,\u201d Jason explained, \u201cthese are sort of like small, little petty things.\u201d However, it is a big deal for Jesse. \u201cI get along with Jason,\u201d Jesse said in his talking head. \u201cBut I\u2019m still pissed at Janet the way she treated Lacy all last year.\u201d Cue the footage from Season 2 of Janet saying that Lacy threatened to send cease-and-desist letters.<\/p>\n

Brittany shares her big news <\/p>\n

Jasmine, Kristen, and Brittany headed out to dinner. After having her baby, Kristen said she feels \u201clike I\u2019m this weird, new Kristen in someone else\u2019s body.\u201d When Jasmine asked Kristen if being with her friends made her feel \u201cmore comfortable being out in public,\u201d Kristen responded that it didn\u2019t. \u201cI literally texted Luke when I got here and said, \u2018I\u2019m not leaving the house ever again,\u2019\u201d Kristen replied.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kristen brought up the argument between Lala and Jasmine. Brittany owned up to the fact that her boyfriend started the drama. \u201cI was like, \u2018Brandon! It shouldn\u2019t have been you being the gossiper!\u201d Brittany said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you think Brandon\u2019s like a messy person? Is he trying to be messy?\u201d Jasmine asked. Brittany denied it and shared that he asked her to \u201cbe his girlfriend.\u201d Both Jasmine and Kristen were stunned that Brittany said yes.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust be happy for me,\u201d Brittany said. \u201cThis guy\u2019s messy as hell<\/a>. He lives four or five hours away. He\u2019s got two or three baby mamas,\u201d Jasmine vented in her confessional. \u201cPop the p*ss, but let\u2019s not pop labels.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cigars, scotch, and resentment in The Valley<\/p>\n

At the cigar lounge, the boys met to try to mend Danny and Jason\u2019s fractured relationship. \u201cLet\u2019s hear what Janet has to say. I mean, Jason,\u201d Danny joked in his confessional. Jesse brought some Scotch, prompting Danny to remark, \u201cI\u2019d have some scotch, but I don\u2019t want to be labeled by anybody around the table here.\u201d Shots fired.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are things that I would like to apologize to you for. I definitely have a lot of regrets about the way that I handled myself emotionally,\u201d Jason told Danny. \u201cI got, for lack of a better word, triggered.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked what triggered him, Jason stated, \u201cI\u2019m very protective over my wife. There was zero organized, systematic thing to take you down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Danny responded, \u201cI\u2019m not here to be friends with you, to be honest.\u201d Jason admitted that he felt the same way, adding, \u201cEspecially hearing this perspective right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luke interjected, saying that there needed to be an apology for Janet\u2019s claim, while on the boat in Maui, that Danny \u201csexually assaulted Jasmine and Michelle.\u201d Jason admitted that he told Janet afterwards that he objected to her terminology. \u201cShe feels the same way about that,\u201d he added. \u201cThe damage was so major<\/a>, and inexcusable \u2026 and these bridges are burned,\u201d Danny responded. \u201cAnd he\u2019s rolling his eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jason was frustrated. \u201cI\u2019m rolling my eyes a little bit at the excusability,\u201d Jason replied. \u201cIf you get drunk and do something f*cking weird and terrible, it\u2019s not just affecting the person that you directly do it to. It\u2019s gonna make other women in the group feel weird, dude,\u201d Jason said. Finally, Luke asked if they could \u201ctolerate each other.\u201d Danny replied, \u201cTime will tell. Time heals all wounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s singles\u2019 night in The Valley<\/p>\n

Michelle and Schwartz were the first at The Belmont, and Michelle shared that she showed his photo to her friend, Natalie, and she thought that Schwartz was \u201ccute.\u201d In her confessional, Michelle said, \u201cNatalie is one of my best friends. I\u2019m actually really excited because I want her to hook up with Tom.\u201d There goes Jesse\u2019s dream of torturing his ex and Schwartz.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Lala admitted that she isn\u2019t on any dating apps, but is \u201creally fond of sliding in a DM.\u201d And her signature move? Sending a chef\u2019s kiss hand emoji.<\/p>\n

In her talking head, a producer asked, \u201cWhose DMs are we sliding into?\u201d Lala responded, \u201cI am not Scheana Shay<\/a>. I am not giving you my laundry list of men who I have f*cked. Slid in their DMs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Schwartz and Natalie decided to share his cigarette outside. After they left, Lala admitted that she thought that Michelle and Schwartz could hit it off. \u201cNo,\u201d Michelle replied. \u201cI see him as a kid. He\u2019s so innocent.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her confessional, Michelle admitted, \u201cI love Tom\u2019s energy<\/a>, and he\u2019s like funny, but he\u2019s the opposite of what I\u2019m looking for.\u201d She wants \u201csomebody older, more mature,\u201d and \u201cmore well-rounded.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Lala approved of Natalie and Schwartz. Then, Summer, the nail salon receptionist, showed up and started flirting with Schwartz. Earlier, he told her that he would be there. Sadly, innocent Schwartz has zero game. <\/p>\n

However, at the bar, Michelle suggested that Natalie kiss Schwartz. \u201cJust because I wouldn\u2019t date Tom Schwartz doesn\u2019t mean I wouldn\u2019t kiss him,\u201d Michelle said in her talking head. \u201cHe\u2019s adorable. He\u2019s like a little cute puppy.\u201d Then, Michelle urged Schwartz to kiss Natalie. Still, the mission was an epic fail. After saying he was tired and talking about his ex-wife, Schwartz departed. <\/p>\n

Date night drama in The Valley<\/p>\n

Kristen and Luke headed to a nearby bar for a date night. \u201cI don\u2019t want to be a recluse forever<\/a>. I want to be a mariposa,\u201d Kristen shared in her confessional. Cue footage of Kristen from 2018, saying \u201cI am a butterfly\u201d in Spanish. \u00a0<\/p>\n

As Kristen and Luke were having their pizza, Kristen shared that she was upset with him. \u201cI feel like you\u2019re mad at me a lot,\u201d Luke replied. Apparently, Luke went out for a boys\u2019 night, and she told him to stay out late if he wanted. All Kristen asked was that he not crash on the couch, and help with Kaia in the morning. However, Luke failed both missions. <\/p>\n

Finally, Kristen admitted that she felt like Luke didn\u2019t care about her feelings or \u201crespect\u201d her. \u201cI feel the same way,\u201d he replied. She fired back, \u201cBecause I don\u2019t f*ck you?\u201d<\/p>\n

Luke explained that he is also struggling as a new dad. \u201cI\u2019m not allowed to have a hard time,\u201d he stated. \u201cIt\u2019s only allowed to be hard for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have empathy for people other than me,\u201d he continued, adding that he has \u201cto walk on eggshells most of the time.\u201d Luke noted in his talking head that he is \u201c2,000 miles and three time zones away from my family.\u201d <\/p>\n

Then Kristen dropped a bomb. \u201cYou complained about my pregnancy the whole entire time,\u201d the new mom stated. \u201cLuke, I thought you were going to leave me.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her confessional, Kristen explained, \u201cThere was one specific day. All these mini-moments were making me have total meltdowns. Luke then said, \u2018I can\u2019t do this anymore.\u2019\u201d And Kristen thought that he was done.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like the whole pregnancy, then it\u2019s post-partum,\u201d an emotional Kristen said. \u201cThen it\u2019s L.A. I\u2019m doing the best I f*cking can.\u201d Finally, they both agreed to try couples counseling. <\/p>\n
