\n\tOlivia Rodrigo<\/a> is a big fan of Justin Bieber\u2019s headlining set at this year\u2019s Coachella.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with Audacy Check In <\/a>posted Thursday (April 23), the Gen-Z pop star praised a number of acts she saw recently at the second weekend of the festival \u2014 including Nine Inch Nails and David Byrne \u2014 before raving about the Saturday main-stage closer. \u201cI did see Bieber, it was so epic,\u201d she told host Bru. \u201cI loved it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen he sang \u2018Baby,\u2019 I think I lost my mind,\u201d she continued about the lead single from Bieber\u2019s 2010 debut album. \u201cI thought it was so beautiful the way he did it with the laptop, too. It almost felt like he was paying homage to his younger self, having his younger self on screen, seeing him in real life so happy. It was really powerful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBieber\u2019s was one of the most talked-about sets from this year\u2019s Coachella. Beyond serenading Billie Eilish on stage and duetting with SZA at weekend two<\/a>, he also poignantly searched through YouTube videos of his preteen self on his computer as the crowd looked on.<\/p>\n

\n\tThat same day, Rodrigo made a surprise appearance<\/a> during Addison Rae\u2019s set to perform \u201cDrop Dead,\u201d the former\u2019s newly released lead single from upcoming album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love (June 12). \u201cI\u2019ve known her [Rae] for so long,\u201d the Grammy winner said on Audacy Check In. \u201cShe has such a vision and is such like a positive, wonderful person and I\u2019m just so happy she\u2019s having so much success.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re friends,\u201d Rodrigo added of how the cameo came to be. \u201cWe text all the time, and I text her, and I was like, \u2018Maybe I could come out at Coachella. I feel like the song is so fun and free and very you.\u2019 And she was so stoked.\u201d<\/p>\n
