\n\t\u201cIt feels like home out here, I came all the way from Georgia,\u201d said Ink<\/a>,\u00a0born Atia Boggs to a military mom in Germany and raised in Georgia,\u00a0as she introduced herself to the Stagecoach crowd on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer-songwriter made her debut at the country music festival and delivered an outstanding performance for the event\u2019s final day. Ink played several tracks from her EP\u00a0Big Buskin\u2019, a tribute to her early days playing for change around Atlanta, including \u201cGod\u2019s Been Drinkin’\u201d and \u201cHoedown.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDressed in a studded black leather vest and pants cloaked in fringe with a turquoise necklace and bracelet, Ink shone underneath the afternoon sun. She gave a heartfelt performance of her debut single, \u201cTurquoise Cowboy,\u201d and afterwards soaked in the moment while reflecting on her journey, saying, \u201cNow I\u2019m out at Stagecoach with ya\u2019ll, living my dream!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 39-year-old songwriter, who\u2019s also a musician and producer,\u00a0has collaborated with some of the top artists in music, crossing and reinventing genres with ease. At this year\u2019s\u00a0Grammy Awards<\/a>, she received a nomination for cowriting \u201cLuther\u201d on\u00a0Kendrick Lamar<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0GNX<\/a>, and at the\u00a02025 awards<\/a>, where Beyonce\u2019s massive album Cowboy\u00a0Carter<\/a> \u2014 for which she co-wrote \u201cTexas Hold \u2018Em,\u201d \u201cSixteen Carriages,\u201d and \u201cAmeriican Requiem\u201d\u00a0\u2014 was named Album of the Year.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast October, Ink rewrote the rules of country music with Big Buskin\u2019<\/a>. Now, she\u2019s readying a full\u00a0country<\/a>\u00a0album. During a\u00a0recent appearance<\/a>\u00a0on Rolling Stone\u2019s\u00a0Nashville Now<\/a>\u00a0podcast (she also performed at\u00a0Rolling Stone\u2019s\u00a0Future of Music<\/a>\u00a0showcase at SXSW), Ink discussed<\/a> country music and how it resonates with music lovers.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSo many people worry about what is and what isn\u2019t country. We worry about labels and forget about the substance, the real thing, what\u2019s in the container,\u201d she said. \u201cPeople from all walks of life are loving this genre. I stand with good music.
