England’s Chances

Playing at home gives England a major advantage. The squad’s mix of seasoned match-winners and young energy could prove decisive in high-pressure games. Their spin attack, led by Ecclestone, and depth in batting make them one of the strongest contenders. Uncapped 18-year-old spinner Tilly Corteen-Coleman has been included, while Lauren Filer and Issy Wong will feature at their first T20 World Cup.

England Women have won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup once, claiming the title in the inaugural 2009 edition. While they have been a dominant force in the format, they have also finished as runners-up on three occasions (2012, 2014, and 2018). Outside of the T20 format, England has seen more success in the ODI (50-over) World Cup, winning four titles in 1973, 1993, 2009, and 2017.

England have officially revealed their squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with Nat Sciver-Brunt set…

[9
195987,444,71787,195986,85,46,195985,195989,170013,195988,105,140592,6866
post-415303","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-sports","tag-charlie-dean","tag-england","tag-england-and-wales","tag-heather-knight","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-lauren-bell","tag-lauren-filer","tag-nat-sciver-brunt","tag-sophie-ecclestone","tag-sports","tag-t20-world-cup","tag-world-cup
["GET
