{"id":415820,"date":"2026-04-29T01:48:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T01:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/415820\/"},"modified":"2026-04-29T01:48:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T01:48:10","slug":"recall-of-sertraline-after-citalopram-found-in-pack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/415820\/","title":{"rendered":"Recall of Sertraline after Citalopram found in pack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph-text\">It said that patients who believe they have already taken any Citalopram 40mg tablets by mistake or are experiencing side effects, should seek medical advice immediately.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-text\">The MHRA said that pharmacists should stop supplying the batch and contact any patients who may have been dispensed the impacted product \u2013 Sertraline 100mg tablets batch number V2500425.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-text\">Dr Alison Cave, the MHRA\u2019s chief safety officer, said: \u201cIf you have been prescribed Sertraline 100mg tablets and have received batch number V2500425, please check the carton contains the right medication.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-text\">\u201cYou can find the batch number and expiry date printed on the side of the outer packaging.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-text\">\u201cIf the blister strips inside the carton are labelled Citalopram 40mg, please contact your pharmacy as soon as possible.
