Since then, every Ultra model up to the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/galaxy-s26-everything-we-know\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Galaxy S26 Ultra<\/a> has retained a 3x optical zoom telephoto camera. However, that could change with Samsung\u2019s next non-foldable flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S27 Ultra.\n<\/p>\n<p>According to well-known tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S27 Ultra <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/UniverseIce\/status\/2049766423707451517?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">may<\/a> drop the dedicated 3x telephoto camera found on its predecessor altogether. Instead, the phone\u2019s new 200MP primary sensor\u2014expected to be different from the one used in the current model\u2014will handle 3x zoom shots.
