Kate Chastain<\/a>\u00a0has an amusing theory about her son, Sullivan Cay<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Friday, September 5, the Below Deck<\/a> alum returned to Instagram to offer another glimpse at her life as a single mom. Kate posted a video of her 2-year-old boy lounging on the couch, holding a yellow car toy as he and Kate played some kind of guessing game.<\/p>\n

Kate Chastain shares her funny exchange with her son, Sullivan<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it white?\u201d Kate asked, to which Sullivan replied, \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it gray?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d the boy answered.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it indigo? Is it brown?\u201d Kate continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo. No,\u201d Sullivan said with a smile.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it yellow?\u201d Kate finally asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes. Yes,\u201d the toddler responded, causing his mom to giggle.<\/p>\n

Kate didn\u2019t provide any more context about the adorable back-and-forth, but suggested they had similar exchanges in the past.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHis favorite new game (I think he just likes saying \u2018no\u2019 to me),\u201d she captioned the post. \u201cI cropped out the first minute of the other colors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate Chastain moves into a 100-year-old Florida home<\/p>\n

The former yachtie shared the family update nearly eight months after she and Sullivan moved into their new Florida home<\/a>. Kate has since completed several upgrades to the 100-year-old property, like adding black-and-white awnings to her front windows<\/a>. Kate has also revealed her plans to repaint the home\u2019s exterior trim and potentially add a backyard pool<\/a>. The latter, of course, will be an ambitious and pricey undertaking, but Kate is willing to invest, as she considers the property her forever home<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEspecially now that Sullivan\u2019s getting older, I\u2019m really excited to do a little height chart on his door frame,\u201d she previously told The Daily Dish. \u201c’Cause I know we\u2019re gonna be here for that many years to chart his growth, so that\u2019s just really exciting and moving is exhausting, so I\u2019m happy to not be doing that for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate Chastain says she’s “never moving again”<\/p>\n

Years before giving birth to Sullivan<\/a>, Kate had lived in an NYC West Village apartment<\/a> with her dog, Halo. She returned to Florida<\/a> during the pandemic and eventually secured a \u201ccraftsman bungalow\u201d<\/a> as she prepared to welcome baby No. 1. Kate and Sullivan remained at the house until early 2025, when the mom officially purchased their current abode.<\/p>\n
