Without it, the situation would have been far worse.<\/p>\n<p>You see this clearly in how the Bank financed its very costly monetary operations. The financial report notes that the Bank\u2019s \u201cstrong policy solvency position\u201d in 2025\u2014its ability to cover monetary policy costs with internal income\u2014was specifically \u201cunderpinned by a substantial inflow from bullion gold sales\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of sterilisation alone reached GH\u00a216.73 billion in 2025.
