Barry Manilow<\/a> has once again postponed his upcoming Las Vegas shows as the singer works his way back from a lung cancer diagnosis<\/a> late last year.<\/p>\n

In a message to fans Friday, Manilow said he received \u201cgood news\u201d following his latest doctor\u2019s appointment, but he\u2019s still unable to return to the stage just yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went to the doctor yesterday and he said I\u2019m making great progress and look great! Well of course I do! Thank you very much! All the training and exercising I\u2019ve put in is paying off,\u201d Manilow wrote. \u201cHe did say, however, that I\u2019m not quite ready for Vegas. That means I won\u2019t be able to return for our May shows at [Las Vegas\u2019 Westgate].\u201d<\/p>\n

Manilow\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0in December that he would undergo surgery to remove a \u201ccancerous spot\u201d on his lung. He was scheduled to kick off his 2026 farewell tour dates in January, but was forced to reschedule. Then, in February, Manilow said he would have to push back the dates again as he needed\u00a0more time to recover<\/a> before appearing on stage.<\/p>\n

More postponements followed: His Vegas residency in February and March was delayed<\/a>, as was the Northwest U.S. leg of his farewell tour that was scheduled for April and May.<\/p>\n

However, Manilow, now cancer-free<\/a>, is aiming to return to touring in June, the same month the singer releases his first new album<\/a>\u00a0in nearly 15 years,\u00a0What a Time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe good news is [the doctor] said I will be ready for my June arena shows in the UK. It\u2019s going to be great to see you all in the UK,\u201d Manilow said, adding that he\u2019ll be back at Las Vegas\u2019 Westgate, \u201cmy home away from home,\u201d in July.<\/p>\n
