Back on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Fallon spoke about his first Formula 1 experience. He described how excited he felt being on the grid before the race. That excitement, he said, may have taken over. “It was so exciting. They have a thing called the grid where you go out right before the race and do interviews with reporters from all over the world,” Fallon told his audience. Then he brought up the viral moment directly. Instead of avoiding it, he joked, “Martin Brundle, by the way, your microphone tastes delicious!” The audience laughed loudly, but online reactions were not as kind. Some viewers said Fallon was trying too hard to be funny. Others felt he disrespected the sport during a serious pre-race moment.Earlier, during the live broadcast on Sky Sports, Brundle had already reacted on-air. He told Fallon, “Do not take my mic sock again.” Later, Brundle shared his thoughts on social media, writing that in 30 years of broadcasting, he had never wondered what a microphone cover tastes like, adding that there are some very funny people around.Fallon had attended the Miami race as a guest of Ford and Red Bull. During his chat with Brundle, he openly supported Max Verstappen. He said, “You’re the best. It’s my first time here. It’s crazy. I’m going for Red Bull. I’m going for Max. He’s going to crush it.”However, the race did not go as expected for Verstappen. He spun during the race and dropped down the order. He later recovered to finish fifth. The race was won by Kimi Antonelli, who delivered a strong performance. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri completed the podium. While the race had its own big moments, Fallon’s interview quickly became one of the most talked-about parts of the weekend. Even now, his response keeps the conversation going, with fans split between finding it funny and calling it unnecessary.

Jimmy Fallon breaks silence on viral Martin Brundle F1 interview moment after shocking microphone biting incident (Image via…

[9
200769,200771,85,46,20334,181384,200770,92841,105,20335
post-427443","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-sports","tag-f1-miami-grand-prix","tag-formula-1-news","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-jimmy-fallon","tag-martin-brundle","tag-microphone-biting-incident","tag-sky-sports","tag-sports","tag-the-tonight-show
["GET
