A popular podcaster and content creator was rushed into surgery after she began experiencing sudden stomach pain.<\/p>\n

Brianna LaPaglia, also known as Brianna Chickenfry, is a 26-year-old podcast star and social media influencer with over 3.5 million followers.<\/p>\n

LaPaglia quit college after being hired by Barstool Sports, where she hosts Plan Bri<\/a> and previously co-hosted BFFs<\/a> with Josh Richards and the company\u2019s founder, Dave Portnoy.<\/p>\n

Her career and public profile have expanded beyond the podcasting world, with LaPaglia posing for the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and dating Grammy-winning country singer Zach Bryan.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, LaPaglia posted a TikTok<\/a> video showing her in a hospital gown. \u201cI\u2019ve never been in this much pain in my life,\u201d the caption reads.<\/p>\n

LaPaglia went into detail about what happened in a TikTok<\/a> video posted the following day.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt hurts to talk, I\u2019m in so much pain today,\u201d she tells her followers.<\/p>\n

In the video, LaPaglia explains that she began to experience stomach pain after eating a meal from Taco Bell late on Saturday.<\/p>\n

At first, she assumed something might be wrong with her food, although the man she was with did not have a similar reaction to the shared meal. She planned to sleep the pain off.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wake up at three in the morning in like excruciating pain,\u201d she said. \u201cI sneak out of the room, and I start projectile vomiting. I\u2019m lying on the bathroom floor, and I\u2019m literally convulsing.\u201c<\/p>\n

After eight hours of debilitating pain, LaPaglia decided to visit the emergency room.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing is getting better; the pain progresses to 20 out of 10,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The doctor first dismissed her pain, she said, but the situation\u2019s critical nature soon became apparent.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile I\u2019m getting a vaginal ultrasound, the women are like\u2026 I can audibly hear them freaking out,\u201d LaPaglia said.<\/p>\n

She was rushed to a different hospital in an ambulance and underwent emergency surgery.<\/p>\n

\u201cEssentially, I had a giant cyst on my ovaries,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cIt was twisting my ovaries, so it\u2019s this thing called torsion.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was twisting my organs, and it was causing a lot of bleeding; there was half a liter of blood in my pelvic floor,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

During the surgery, the doctor had to make five incisions in her stomach in order to remove the cyst and drain out the blood.<\/p>\n

In her TikTok stories, LaPaglia wrote that she could not stop crying. \/ TikTok\/Brianna LaPaglia<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so f—ing mad that I have all of these scars on my stomach,\u201d she said. \u201cI know it\u2019s superficial, but like seriously, bro, I was supposed to have the best Sunday ever and get a pedicure, but then I got emergency surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the next TikTok<\/a> video, also posted Monday, LaPaglia described her current pain level as \u201cunbearable,\u201d \u201cexcruciating,\u201d and \u201cchildbirth level.\u201d<\/p>\n
