{"id":439481,"date":"2026-05-13T11:09:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T11:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/439481\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T11:09:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T11:09:09","slug":"ihh-healthcare-likely-to-report-strong-1q-revenue-cimb-securities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/439481\/","title":{"rendered":"IHH Healthcare likely to report strong 1Q revenue \u2014 CIMB Securities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA LUMPUR (May 13): IHH Healthcare Bhd (KL:<a href=\"https:\/\/theedgemalaysia.com\/askedge\/klse\/5225\" class=\"ce-stock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">IHH<\/a>) may report strong revenue in the first quarter from growing inpatient intensity and expansion in existing markets, said CIMB Securities.<\/p>\n<p>While the first three months of 2026 (1QFY2026) could see year-on-year topline growth, revenue could weaken on a quarter-on-quarter basis as patients defer non-urgent treatments for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, the research house flagged in an earnings preview note.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn terms of earnings drivers for 2026, Malaysia, India, and T\u00fcrkiye operations are expected to lead growth,\u201d CIMB Securities said. Earnings growth in Singapore, however, may continue to lag, the house said.<\/p>\n<p>CIMB Securities raised its target price by 30 sen to RM10.30 and maintained a \u2018buy\u2019 rating on the stock in line with the majority of analysts ahead of IHH Healthcare&#8217;s results announcement scheduled for May 26.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of IHH Healthcare have gained about 4% in value so far this year in the face of regulatory risks at home. The hospital operator, which also counts medical tourists from the Middle East as its patients, has also largely shrugged off geopolitical conflict in the region.<\/p>\n<p>There are 26 research houses on IHH Healthcare\u2019s counter, with 20 \u2018buy\u2019 calls, six \u2018hold\u2019 ratings and zero \u2018sell\u2019 recommendations, according to Bloomberg data. The 12-month average target price is RM10.10.<\/p>\n<p>IHH Healthcare is in the midst of expanding its Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur, upgrading Pantai Hospital Penang, developing Gleneagles Hospital Kuching after completing works at Pantai Hospital Cheras \u2014 all expected to gradually boost throughput and support higher volumes, CIMB Securities said.<\/p>\n<p>In India, additional bed capacity and improved pricing are expected to support growth while its T\u00fcrkiye operations appear resilient, the house said.
