Prince Harry<\/a> was reportedly a bit shaken after Andrew Mountbatten Windsor<\/a> was allegedly harassed by a masked man near his new home at Sandringham Estate.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex, 41, lost taxpayer-funded security in the U.K. after he and wife Meghan Markle<\/a> stepped back from senior royal duties in 2020 \u2014 one of the reasons why he hasn\u2019t been back home much since moving to California.<\/p>\n

After seeing what happened recently with the former Prince Andrew, \u201cHarry was horrified,\u201d a source told journalist Rob Shuter<\/a> for a report published last week on his Naughty But Nice Substack<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf someone can get that close to Andrew near a royal estate, then nobody is truly protected<\/a> anymore,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

Last Wednesday, the former Duke of York, 66, was said to be out walking his dogs when \u201cofficers were called\u201d following a report that \u201ca man was behaving in an intimidating manner in the village,\u201d per People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry believes this validates everything<\/a> he\u2019s been saying,\u201d a source told Shuter. \u201cHe keeps asking what stops the same thing from happening to Meghan or the children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry does not defend Andrew personally,\u201d another source added of Harry\u2019s uncle, who has been stripped of his royal titles<\/a> and honors by King Charles III<\/a> amid renewed scrutiny into his ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>. \u201cBut he believes royals are permanent high-risk targets regardless of public opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Andrew\u2019s alleged harasser was arrested, Norfolk Police announced (via People) that Alex Jenkinson was charged with two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior to harass, cause alarm or distress and failing to provide a blood specimen in custody.<\/p>\n

The 39-year-old reportedly appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court and pleaded not guilty to the counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior to harass, cause alarm or distress. He pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen.<\/p>\n

The BBC<\/a> reported that Jenkinson is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on July 29, when Andrew is expected to give evidence.<\/p>\n

Jenkinson was reportedly released on conditional bail.<\/p>\n

Though Andrew has consistently denied wrongdoing and maintained his innocence<\/a> regarding his connection to the late financier, he was forced to vacate Royal Lodge and move to his new home at Marsh Farm.<\/p>\n
