\n\tRihanna<\/a> is no stranger to setting trends, and the singer might have just helped cement a Nike shoe<\/a> as the sneaker of the summer<\/a>. Going along with the low-profile shoe trend, she stepped out in New York City on Sunday wearing a low-key sporty look paired with Nike x Jacquemus Moon Shoes SP<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cWe Found Love\u201d singer wore the Moon Shoe<\/a> in the Soft Pearl and Sail colorway, which
originally retailed for $180. The shoes are part of Simon Porte Jacquemus<\/a>\u2018 fourth footwear collaboration with Nike<\/a>. The shoe was inspired by the company\u2019s running history and DNA, and for the first time, Bill Bowerman\u2019s hand-built Moon Shoe from 1972 has been reinterpreted with modern details.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe original Nike<\/a> shoe went through an elevated update with ruched nylon and full-grain leather, blending its track-racer origins with a modern, ballet aesthetic, which is a popular theme overtaking the footwear and sneaker industry as of late. The result is a slim torpedo shoe that blends Jacquemus<\/a> modern design and Nike\u2019s sports heritage. The key is in the shoe\u2019s subtle details, designed with Jacquemus branding that can be found on the tongue, heel and sockliner. The shoes also include a Nike Grind rubber outsole for traction. They were also made in a brown and cashmere colorway.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Fenty Beauty founder wore the sneakers with no socks or with no-show socks, which is contrary to the higher and taller socks look that has been a popular styling choice as of late. She paired the Moon Shoe with a gray, crewneck sweatshirt with black biker shorts, and a Miu Miu Drill baseball cap, which retails for $650. In an effort to make the outfit appear even more put together, she completed the look with a Dior Crunchy Bag in the medium size, which she wore in the maroon shade. <\/p>\n
