{"id":449638,"date":"2026-05-19T15:59:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T15:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/449638\/"},"modified":"2026-05-19T15:59:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T15:59:09","slug":"la-mayoral-candidate-spencer-pratt-releases-fresh-prince-of-bel-air-ad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/449638\/","title":{"rendered":"LA mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt releases &#8216;Fresh Prince of Bel-Air&#8217; ad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON (TNND) \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/thenationaldesk.com\/news\/americas-news-now\/spencer-pratt-releases-viral-mothers-day-ad-for-his-wife-shows-home-lost-in-la-fire-palisades-fire-heidi-montag-los-angeles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt<\/a> on Monday released a viral \u201cFresh Prince of Bel-Air\u201d ad following a news report that he lived there.<\/p>\n<p>The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was a popular show in the &#8217;90s that starred Will Smith as the main character.<\/p>\n<p>In the ad which has 3.7 million views on X, Pratt sings to the tune of the popular theme song of the show, but changes the lyrics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow this is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down,\u201d the video\u2019s caption on X reads.<\/p>\n<p>The videos shows Spencer Pratt in front of his trailer and shots of it being hauled to Bel-Air by a truck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn west Los Angeles Palisades in my backyard is where I spent most of my days feeding hummingbirds, relaxing all cool [and] avoiding all the bums outside of the school,\u201d he sang. \u201cWhen a couple politicians who were up to good started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fire and my mom got scared and said, \u2018You\u2019re moving in with Harvey Levin in Bel Air.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pratt lost his house in the Palisades fire a year ago and said it was the main reason he was running for mayor because of failed leadership like <a href=\"https:\/\/thenationaldesk.com\/news\/americas-news-now\/la-mayoral-candidate-spencer-pratt-releases-viral-ad-showing-mansions-of-ca-politicians-los-angeles-lakers-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">current Mayor Karen Bass.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Monday, a reporter put out a story that said Spencer Pratt lived in Santa Barbara.<\/p>\n<p>Comment with Bubbles<\/p>\n<p>JOIN THE CONVERSATION (1)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy house burned down,\u201d he said in response to the report. \u201cI lost everything. I can\u2019t rebuild. As a 42 year old man with 2 kids, I\u2019ve had to move into my parents\u2019 house, and I\u2019m getting attacked for that? This is journalism? This is why no decent people ever get into politics. This is why you only have goblins running everything. God help you if you try to make things right for your communityif you lose your entire town, \u201cjournalists\u201d mock you for not making your kids sleep in the toxic dirt on your burned out lot.
