\n\tJust as he does when making music, Jung Kook<\/a> of BTS<\/a> had ARMY in mind while he created his first ever clothing line.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new video posted Tuesday (May 19), the K-pop star takes fans behind the scenes of how he designed his new capsule of jackets, tees, pants and more in partnership with Calvin Klein. Surrounded by samples of the pieces, sketches and swatches, he said that bringing the collection to life \u201creminded me a lot of working on an album or making a song,\u201d according to the video\u2019s English translation.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cStarting from the fabric, adjusting the fit and talking through the details of the clothes, I realized how much time goes into making just one piece,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\n\tJung Kook went on to point out some of his favorite details of the pieces in the capsule, including recreations of his famous tattoos embedded in the clothing. Plus, he says he also hid his signature \u2014 which he apparently had to write out \u201cover and over\u201d to get it exactly right \u2014 in embroidery stitched to the interior of some of the pieces.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s kind of like a little secret between me and ARMY,\u201d the performer explained.<\/p>\n

\n\tCalvin Klein first announced<\/a> that Jung Kook had helped design a new line of clothes on Monday (May 18). The singer has long been a partner<\/a> of the fashion house, and in statement, he said that their continuing relationship has \u201cgiven me the opportunity to express myself through the brand\u2019s iconic style.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been exciting to work with Calvin Klein in this more personal, creative way,\u201d Jung Kook continued. \u201cAs my first fashion collaboration, I wanted to fully immerse myself in the process, leveraging Calvin Klein\u2019s design expertise to leave my mark on every piece. This capsule feels authentic to my style and my love of riding and is a meaningful way to shape something lasting through design and storytelling.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPieces from Jung Kook\u2019s collection are now available to shop online. Select stores will begin carrying them on Wednesday (May 20).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe launch comes amid BTS\u2019 ongoing global tour in support of Billboard 200<\/a>-topping album ARIRANG, with dates scheduled through March of next year.<\/p>\n
