Bruce Willis’s daughter has shared an emotional health update on the star, admitting it is “different now”. The actor was diagnosed with language disorder aphasia<\/a> in 2022, which led him to step away from acting, and the following year was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rumer Willis has opened up about her father in a new interview, explaining that things are “different now” with the condition.<\/p>\n

“I’m so grateful that I get to go see him,” she told The Inside Edit<\/a> podcast. “Even though our time together is different now, I’m so grateful that I still have this time.<\/p>\n

“There’s a sweetness,” Rumer added. “He’s always been this kind of macho dude and there’s such a \u2013 fragile is not the right word but \u2013 just a tenderness that maybe being Bruce Willis might not have allowed him in a certain way.”<\/p>\n

Last year, Bruce’s former wife and Rumer’s mother Demi Moore opened up about supporting her husband<\/a>, revealing that she sees him weekly.<\/p>\n

“We will always be a family, just in a different form,” she revealed to Variety<\/a>. “For me, there was never a question. I show up because that\u2019s what you do for the people you love.”<\/p>\n

Demi added: “I hope it’s encouraging for others to see that there\u2019s a different way to do things. There is life after divorce. There is a way to co-parent with love.”<\/p>\n

Rumer previously explained<\/a> that the experience with the diagnosis had shown that her father is “so beloved”, which had been “so evident in the transparency with which we’ve been sharing”.<\/p>\n

“I think if there’s any way sharing our experience brings hope \u2014 whatever comes forward as a family \u2014 that can have an effect and bring any sort of hope, comfort to someone else experiencing that, then to me, that’s\u2026 everything,” she added to Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n
