{"id":457673,"date":"2026-05-24T13:36:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-24T13:36:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/457673\/"},"modified":"2026-05-24T13:36:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-24T13:36:08","slug":"over-24000-people-in-kerry-signed-up-to-pension-auto-enrolment-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/457673\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 24,000 people in Kerry signed up to pension auto-enrolment scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over 24,000 people in Kerry are signed up to the new pension auto-enrolment scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizensinformation.ie\/en\/money-and-tax\/personal-finance\/pensions\/auto-enrolment\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings System<\/a> aims to address the pension coverage gap that exists and to provide workers with access to a quality assured retirement savings scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The most recent figures show that more than 806,000 people have been signed up to the scheme.<\/p>\n<p>More than 24,400 |(24,444) of those are in Kerry.<\/p>\n<p>The figures were provided by Minister for Social Protection <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiokerry.ie\/news\/over-14000-children-in-kerry-receive-hot-school-meals-479680\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dara Calleary<\/a> following a query Fine Gael TD John Paul O\u2019Shea.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Over 24,000 people in Kerry are signed up to the new pension auto-enrolment scheme.
