The movies have cast Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as Harrison and Harrison and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.<\/p>\n
Sex Education and The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood will be playing Boyd, who first met Harrison on the set of A Hard Day’s Night in 1964.<\/p>\n
They married in 1966 and were divorced in 1977. But despite her history with the band \u2013 and the production having added her as a character to the story \u2013 Boyd says no one has contacted her about the films.<\/p>\n
“Don\u2019t you think they\u2019d let me know?” she said during a recent interview on the podcast Miss O\u2019Dell: Abbey Road To Tulsa Time. “Well, I haven\u2019t been contacted by anyone.<\/p>\n
“I could have really told them great stories,” she continued. “But I don\u2019t think they want to know. I think they want to create something that\u2019s completely different, like a different story.”<\/p>\n

Boyd, who became known as a model, photographer and as a rock muse following her marriages to Harrison and Eric Clapton, inspiring songs like I Need You and Wonderful Tonight, went on to claim The Beatles films seem to have “nothing to do with the truth [and] nothing to do with what really happened because they don\u2019t want to talk to anyone who was there”.<\/p>\n
Boyd did go on to joke that she wasn’t going to get “grumpy and growly” dwelling on being left out of the process, however.<\/p>\n
Radio Times has contacted representatives for Mendes and The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinema Experience asking for comment.<\/p>\n
