New councillor Ian Beale stands to lose it all on EastEnders next week \u2013 including his flourishing political career<\/a> \u2013 when celebrations at Vicki Fowler and Ross Marshall’s wedding<\/a> turn into a total nightmare.<\/p>\n

Ian’s in a celebratory mood following his recent run of success, and his mum Kathy is more than a little tipsy after the festivities, but their night is about to become one they’ll never forget.<\/p>\n

We know that Chelsea Fox is tied up with this mystery storyline, but exactly what is her involvement in this fateful occasion?<\/p>\n

“We know Ian and Chelsea are about to become connected,” points out our EastEnders spy. “Ian’s night turns into a disaster at the same time as Chelsea is also involved in a family crisis. How does Ian get mixed up in this catastrophe?”<\/p>\n

The reason Ian makes an early exit from the wedding in the first place is to avoid any more bickering between Cindy Beale and his sloshed mother. Ian’s had enough domestics between them to last a lifetime and decides to take Kathy home \u2013 but with disastrous consequences\u2026<\/p>\n

Once home, they’re both in high spirits as Kathy reveals how proud she is to see Ian voted in as councillor. But as they celebrate his rise to the top, Ian has no idea that events are unfolding on the Square that will change his life forever.<\/p>\n

“There’s a knock on the door that shatters their peace\u2026” teases our mole. “When Ian answers, he goes pale. He quickly realises that the information he’s being told could see him lose everything, even his brand-new role on the Walford council.”<\/p>\n

It’s a long, dark night for Ian as he contemplates a troubling future. The nightmare events following his drive home from the wedding torment him, even as dawn breaks. <\/p>\n
