A fresh group of Islanders will soon be entering the Love Island villa ready to couple up.<\/p>\n

The popular ITV dating show is heading back to our screens on 1 June, and the full official line-up has now been unveiled.<\/p>\n

They’re an eclectic bunch who all hail from different parts of the UK and Ireland, and include a student, a teacher, a model and a real estate videographer. <\/p>\n

Maya Jama will once again return as host, presiding over the Mallorca villa.<\/p>\n

So, who’s embarking on a summer of romance? Read on to find out more about this year’s cast of Love Island<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Talking about his “type on paper”, Ope said he’s looking for “energy, vibes and if you find my jokes funny”.<\/p>\n

Asked who won’t be turning his head, he responded: “Negative energy, someone not here for a good time. I\u2019m always up for a good time and having a laugh and having fun. There\u2019s people who just love to dwell on the negatives.”<\/p>\n

Lola\"Lola<\/p>\n

Job: Detective<\/p>\n

From: Kent<\/p>\n

When it comes to her ‘type on paper’, Lola isn’t “too fussy” looks wise. In a personality, she’s looking for “someone funny” and “smart”.<\/p>\n

Speaking about how she’s hoping to avoid drama during her stint on the show, she added: “I do like watching it but I don\u2019t want to be a part of it. I\u2019m really looking for love, I want a boyfriend again. I want to find someone who is actually the love of my life, like obsessed with me kind of thing. I think I\u2019m missing someone who is obsessed with me!”<\/p>\n

Samuel is looking for “someone classy, mature, blonde, fun, and someone who doesn\u2019t take themselves too seriously”.<\/p>\n

Speaking about how he plans to handle the competition, he added: “I\u2019ve never really had to compete before, so it\u2019ll be interesting. I know what I bring to the table, and I\u2019m confident in what I have to offer. Like I said, I\u2019ll go after what I want and hopefully score the goal.”<\/p>\n

Angelista’s type is “tall, dark and handsome”.<\/p>\n

Talking about her relationship strategy, she said: “Someone will take your man if you\u2019re playing it safe at the back and you\u2019ll watch it happen and that\u2019s not nice. You have to read the room with the guy as well, to see if he\u2019s feeling the same.”<\/p>\n

It’s “personality” that Aidan will be looking for in the villa.<\/p>\n

“Obviously, I know if I find someone physically attractive but if we\u2019re not connecting, laughing, and having a good time, it just wouldn\u2019t work for me,” he said.<\/p>\n

Asked whether he’s here for the drama, or finding love, he responded: “Finding love is definitely the goal. That said, I do enjoy a bit of drama. I probably wouldn\u2019t get fully involved but I\u2019d definitely be listening, taking it in \u2013 maybe stirring the pot a little bit.”<\/p>\n

Jasmine\"Jasmin<\/p>\n

Job: Fashion business owner<\/p>\n

Jasmine will be looking for someone “objectively hot, really charismatic, and confident”, and she won’t be interested in anyone “insecure”.<\/p>\n

“I pick up on insecurity straight away, and it just wouldn\u2019t end well. By the end of it, he\u2019d probably hate me.”<\/p>\n

Talking about her approach to relationships, and whether she’ll go straight for the goal or play it safe at the back, she added: “Straight for the goal. Life\u2019s too short to play it safe, that\u2019s boring. You don\u2019t go on Love Island to play it safe.”<\/p>\n

Samraj\"Samraj<\/p>\n

Job: Model<\/p>\n

Samraj doesn\u2019t have a type, noting that his dating history is quite the mix.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like the way a woman carries herself, her mannerisms. I like that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Ellie\"A<\/p>\n

Job: Real estate videographer<\/p>\n

Ellie\u2019s type is simple: tall, dark and handsome.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf it\u2019s not broken, don\u2019t fix it. It\u2019s a classic for a reason,\u201d she said. \u201cNice teeth, nice tattoos, partial to a blonde as well. Pretty face. Look like you\u2019re going to break my heart but like, please don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sean is in the villa looking for love but wouldn\u2019t mind a spot of drama should it occur.<\/p>\n

Robyn is looking for a \u201cpretty boy\u201d while in the villa but admits she is more into personality.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve got to make me laugh, be charming, and have good manners,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cFinding love is my only goal. There may be a little bit of drama but I\u2019m going in there for myself so I\u2019ve got to do what I\u2019ve got to do. But I would like to think I\u2019m a girl\u2019s girl and that I handle situations quite well. I\u2019ve got a mature brain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lorenzo\"A<\/p>\n

Lorenzo quite likes a \u201cposh girl\u201d but also someone who resembles Jessica Alba or Angelina Jolie… so nothing too specific.<\/p>\n

For Lorenzo, drama can be fun and so long as no one is crying, \u201call is fair in love and war\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019ll be interesting to see what unfolds,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The most important thing for Mica is personality, and in the villa she is looking for someone who will make her laugh and who she can get along with.<\/p>\n

While in the villa, Mica plans to \u201cdabble in both\u201d drama and romance, saying: \u201cObviously the whole point is finding love and that\u2019s going to be my main goal. I\u2019m not saying I\u2019m going to start drama but if there is drama going on, I would obviously be a little bit nosey and want to know what\u2019s going on.\u201d<\/p>\n
