\t\t\t\t\tNakamura\u2019s outfits being created at Yves Salomon<\/a><\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCourtesy<\/p>\n \n\tAgourram took cues from \u201cfuturistic universes, the aesthetic of science-fiction heroines and sculptural silhouettes of the 2000s\u201d for Nakamura\u2019s on-stage wardrobe, the brand said.<\/p>\n \n\tIt took some 20 people from the brand\u2019s ateliers to develop the dozen looks in leather, fur and feathers developed for the occasion. Among them are a statuesque leather trench with exaggerated lapels and sleeves as well as a midriff-baring halter-neck top in shiny crocodile-embossed with matching trousers with lacing details running up the legs.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe worked with materials that are part of the Maison\u2019s DNA\u2026adapting them to the demands of live performance,\u201d Salomon added. \u201cSome pieces required extensive technical development, particularly in terms of volume, lightness and finishing.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSeparately, a collaboration between the singer\u2019s Nakamura Industry brand, streetwear label Baara and Nike<\/a> is launching Saturday at the sports giant\u2019s House of Innovation flagship store on the Champs-Elys\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
