Waco Police Department<\/p>\n Texas cops opted for The Sugarhill Gang\u2019s track \u201cRapper\u2019s Delight\u201d as background music and the clip started with one man, armed with a net, hopelessly failing to capture the animal. <\/p>\n The marsupial still managed to avoid capture even when it was chased by two officers.<\/p>\n Eventually, the officers prevailed and Bingus was caught in what police proclaimed was a \u201croo-tine\u201d mission.<\/p>\n One officer and the man, who had now abandoned his net, were seen dragging the animal by its tail, seemingly preventing it from bolting off again.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re happy to report this escape artist has returned safe and sound,\u201d relieved cops said. <\/p>\n Fans saw the funny side \u2014 with one comparing the way the animal was captured to a mom and her child in a Walmart supermarket.<\/p>\n One man, wearing a vest and armed with a net, was unable to catch the animal.
