Cena was the dominant figure from the early 2000s onwards but since his move to part-time and eventual retirement, multiple stars have tried to fill the void.

Cena, obviously, spent his entire career as a ‘babyface’ until a late run as a heel saw him quickly turn back face before he left the company.

And it is because of that babyface run that Rollins believes he’s so different to Cena.

Photo by Joe Maher/WWE via Getty Images

Seth Rollins says he’ll always be a better heel than babyface

Rollins is often good for a quote or two in the modern era given his popularity and the in-demand nature of his stardom.

Now, speaking about his current run in WWE where’s mainly portrayed as a good guy, Rollins has admitted it’s likely to be short-lived.

“The truth is I’m not very good at being the hero,” Rollins told ESPN.

“I can do it in short spurts, but I’m not like (John) Cena, I’m not like Rey Mysterio.
