BUFFALO, N.Y. \u2014 A new business opening on Buffalo’s West Side offers people a way to release built up stress or frustration in a safe and controlled environment.<\/p>\n
So Anxious Rage & Paint on Friday held its grand opening at 415 Rhode Island St. It’s what’s commonly known as a “rage room,” a place where people can take their anger out on breakable items.<\/p>\n
The owners told 2 On Your Side that it’s a healthy way to deal with mental health struggles.<\/p>\n
“The idea for this business came out of an extremely emotionally draining and life-changing event my fianc\u00e9 and I went through,” co-owner Ashanti Brown said.<\/p>\n
“After struggling to find an outlet to help cope, we realized that there was a need for people to feel seen and free to release frustration without judgment. We are providing an accessible, engaging, and real way to take care of your mental health.”<\/p>\n
