Quebec says there\u2019s a possible hepatitis A risk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Quebec health officials issued a public warning Thursday advising consumers not to eat a dip sold by a Montreal food company after concerns it may have been contaminated with the hepatitis A virus.<\/p>\n<p>The warning came from Quebec\u2019s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and applies to a refrigerated product prepared and sold by Les aliments Fressers Inc. called \u201cLe Dip.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The affected products include 250 millilitre and 500 ml containers with best-before dates of Aug. 2, 2026, or earlier, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newswire.ca\/fr\/news-releases\/mise-en-garde-a-la-population-presence-possible-du-virus-de-l-hepatite-a-dans-de-la-trempettepreparee-et-vendue-par-l-entreprise-les-aliments-fressers-inc--866471917.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the ministry said in a statement.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The product was reportedly sold exclusively at the company\u2019s store at 5737 D\u00e9carie Blvd in Montreal.<\/p>\n<p>Consumers who purchased the dip should discard it immediately, it advised \u2014 even if it appears fresh and shows no signs of spoilage, the ministry said.<\/p>\n<p>The warning was issued as a precautionary measure.
