\n\tTaylor Swift has released the music video<\/a> for her latest single, \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You,\u201d the country-inflected original song she contributed to \u201cToy Story 5.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe video is entirely made up of footage from \u201cToy Story\u201d and focuses on Jessie, who inspired the song and is featured on the track\u2019s cover art. Viewers can watch the clip on Spotify and Apple Music<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI Knew It, I Knew You\u201d was released to streaming services at midnight last night, not long after she announced that she\u2019d be releasing the single earlier this week. To accompany the song, she posted a vintage video of herself on social media that showed her as a little girl in a red cowgirl hat and a shirt embroidered with boots.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWriting this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time,\u201d she wrote in the post. \u201cCreating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now\u2026 is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe continued, \u201cThank you to the brilliant Andrew Stanton for imagining me for this, all those years ago when you wrote this newest film. Thank you to the incomparable @randynewmanofficial for the gorgeous sonic tapestry of songs and scores you\u2019ve meticulously woven over the years. You created the Toy Story musical world, and we are lucky to get to live in it. By we, I mean myself and my pal @jackantonoff. We wrote this with so much adoration for these characters that made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard all throughout our childhoods.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift co-produced and co-wrote the song with Jack Antonoff, who reunited with her for the first time since \u201cThe Tortured Poets Department.\u201d In addition to the digital single, Swift is offering CD and vinyl versions of the track, though the physical editions quickly sold out.<\/p>\n
