Tehran denied responsibility and said it would investigate.

Azerbaijan withdrew its diplomatic staff from Iran the day after the strike, before gradually normalising relations in the weeks that followed.

Baku has maintained close economic and security ties with Israel since the 1990s.

By&nbspNadira Tudor&nbsp&&nbspEuronews Published on 05/06/2026 – 19:57 GMT+2•Updated 20:07 Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry denied claims published by international media…

[3
14330,42,117780,46,43,40,38,41,39
post-478365","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-headlines","tag-azerbaijan","tag-headlines","tag-iran-war","tag-israel","tag-news","tag-top-news","tag-top-stories","tag-topnews","tag-topstories
["GET
