Bridgit Mendler<\/a> did not make her return to music like fans thought. <\/p>\n Six new songs apparently from the former Disney star appeared on her Spotify and Apple Music pages on Friday (June 5). The songs included \u201cLoyalties,\u201d \u201cOxygen,\u201d \u201cMercy,\u201d \u201cLong Run,\u201d \u201cCold,\u201d and \u201cFlowers,\u201d and appeared to be an exciting new EP.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, the 33-year-old took to her X account on Wednesday (June 10) to share that she was not behind the surprise drop.<\/p>\n \u201cSorry to disappoint everyone, the spotify release wasn\u2019t me!\u201d she wrote. She then added a follow-up tweet saying, \u201cWhen it is, trust me, you\u2019ll know.\u201d<\/p>\n when it is, trust me, you’ll know \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n \u2014 Bridgit Mendler (@bridgitmendler) June 11, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n Bridgit left Hollywood almost ten years ago to pursue a career in the tech space and hasn\u2019t officially released new music since <\/p>\n In case you missed it, back in March, Bridgit actually spoke about how her time at Disney helped shape her and assisted with her later endeavors such as her tech career.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a great time in my life\u2026 super formative experience,\u201d\u00a0Bridgit\u00a0tells\u00a0The Free Press<\/a>. \u201cI started that show when I was 17, and continued on for 100 episodes. So it was a rigorous time in life.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere were times when, you know, I would be filming a TV show\u2026 12 hours each day during the week, and then going to the studio after, and then doing concerts on the weekends,\u201d\u00a0she continued.
